Streetlight Outages

Streetlight outages are handled by the Los Angeles Bureau of Street Lighting, http://bsl.lacity.org/residents.html

There are several ways to report a streetlight outage:

Use the MyLA311 web portal at https://myla311.lacity.org, and click on the orange ‘Create Service Request’ button, the ‘Problems & Repairs’ option, and then either the ‘Single Streetlight Issue’ or ‘Multiple Streetlight Issue’ option
Use the MyLA311 app (available free for iPhone or Android devices), and select the ‘Street Light Out/Damaged’ option under ‘Submit Service Request’
Call 3-1-1
Use our online form at http://bsl.lacity.org/serv_req.htm

WHPOA Meetings & Events
WHPOA members meet annually to elect officers and consider neighborhood issues, usually in the Fall. Our 2022 Annual Meeting took place on December 8, 2022 via Zoom. Our special guest speakers were LAPD Senior Lead Officer James Allen with an update on security and crime in our area, and Matthew Marquez from Metro to bring us up to date on the proposed Sepulveda Transit Corridor project (monorail vs. tunnel). President Debbie Nussbaum updated us on how our neighborhood is affected by redistricting and the recent elections.

Streetlight Outages
